The challenge
Plant performance data lived in four places that did not agree with each other. The weekly operations report took two people the better part of a day, and by the time it circulated the numbers had moved.
What we did
We started with the single most painful recurring task rather than a platform rollout. Hoopi was given read access to the ERP and MES, a scoped drive folder and the two shared inboxes, then taught the reconciliation rules the team had been applying by hand.
What changed
The report now runs at 6:45 Monday, flags variances above threshold, and shows the source of every figure. The team that used to assemble it now runs the improvement actions it surfaces.
